  • Weird (Automated?) user names signing up

In the last 3/4 weeks, we've had 4 user names sign up which have a common trait.

All the domains are strange and end in .BIZ
All the user names appear to be random numbers and/or letters.

    Is anyone else getting this?

Do you have email verifcation on and image verification?

some just set the URL's to some site that they promote to increase the amount of links pointing to the site.

More links means it will be more popular on google i believe.

Google no longer count links from forum pages as part of page rank calculations I believe.

There is no way to accurately distinguish that (in addition to being a negative to legitimate links), so no.

Webmasters can choose to designate some links to be ignored like that, but this isn't automatic.

I'm having the same problem and I've always had image verification ON. Don't know what they're up to. Should I worry?
