hahahaha! That's pretty funny, but my favorite statement would have to be:

"An RIAA spokesperson said that it would try and dismiss the case."

    Keyword: Try

I hate the RIAA, they are soo greedy! They get like 80% of all song sales on the internet, 18% goes to the recording company, and 2% goes to the client(ie:iTunes) I have heard many reports, that illegal downloading the music, has pursuaded a user to actually go out and buy an album(because of viruses, bad sound quality, etc). I do not see a purpose in their organization at all. If the music companies want to sue these people, they should, not the RIAA, who actually takes more profit off of online sales than the actual Record Companies. The job of taking down people who intentionally steal music off of P2P programs, should be the responsability of that private party that published the music.

But the thing that annoys me the most is, all those RIAA people get RICH off of this, sueing people.

Actually, the RIAA makes very little money from sueing people, a lot less than the lawyer fees - the point is to scare people into not downloading music.
