Ok tons of threads asking for a release date around here, so I thought maybe it would be a good time to try on of these threads again.

I don't think a winner was ever announced for that thread, I will try to tally up the points and announce one for this one thou!
We will play by the same rules as last time, here they are (slightly modified for current dates).

The name of the game is: Guess the day and time that vB 3.1 FINAL will be released and win! We're not talking beta/release candidates -- only the final deal. The winner will be chosen based on:
1) How close he/she was to the actual release date/time
2) How far back he/she made his guess
Scoring system:
Getting it right within the hour: 100 points
Getting it right within 24 hours: 75 points
Getting it right within 48 hours: 50 points
Getting it right within 72 hours: 25 points
Bonus points:
Add one point for every partial day BEFORE THE FINAL RELEASE that you made your guess. Add two extra points for every partial day between February 1st 2005 and February 10th 2005, if you submit your guess in that time! (Early guessers get rewarded!)
After vB 3.1 Final is released, I will tally up the scores and announce a winner. The prize? Fame! Fortune! Power! But mostly, just the thrill of it all.
THE BETTING (GUESSING) IS CLOSED ONCE ANY OFFICIAL vB3-RELEASE-RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE MADE IN THE ANNOUNCEMENTS FORUM! This is to keep the game fair!
Some rules:
1) You can only post a guess once, so make it count!
2) Post your guess in its own post, in bold or it won't count!
3) If your guess-post gets edited, the time you submitted your guess gets bumped up to the time that you edited it.
