  • When was Jelsoft established?

I was curious as to when Jelsoft was started. Also, does Jelsoft make any other products other than vBulletin? If so, what are they?

2000, and the only released product is vBulletin, though there have been rumors.

lol, one other product has been strongly hinted at and that is a CMS. It will be fully integrated with vB and be sold seperately. But that's all we know atm.

Besides vBulletin we've also developed The ImpEx system inhouse, which we share with our customers.

          ps,

Import Export. It's the importer system for vB3.

Those programs along with the Visual Basic forum that prompted the creation of vBulletin have been sold off to a separate entity.

Jelsoft sounds like a name that was made up by a kid nicknamed 'Jel' who did some BASIC coding during them good ole Commodore 64 days.

10 print "Thou shall not redicule the name of Jelsoft"
                      20 goto 10
                      run

Jel actually comes from the founders name: James E Limm

At least that's what I remember reading somewhere...
