K, i just registered a domain at GoDaddy, i hadnt tried them before, but the price was fine ($7.95 + 50cent ICANN fee), but when i had chosen my domain name and clicked "proceed" it took 7-8 pages full of shameless spam trying to get me to buy additional stuff

There was like 20-25 different things they wanted me to add to my order, i only wanted a domain name, but was flooded with spam while clicking through those 7-8 pages.

Sure they just try to make money, but they could atleast make it a bit different, almost scared me away, but oh well, i bought the domain anyway

    Sry, just had to vent

I just used GoDaddy today for one of my friend's domain names, and I noticed something similar. Only in my case, they tried to get be to pay $12.95/month for Site Tonight Pro.

Yea, but they need to make money other ways, the point is its still cheaper than almost everyone else.

For the price, clicking through a bunch of ads isn't too much of a sacrafice
