  • Windows XP ICS problem..

Right. Untill Tuesday night the network was working fine. Then its not.

My PC, PC A, is connected to the ADSL using a USB Dynamode A360 modem, PC B the 2nd computer is connected to mine via a piece of cat5e crossover. This leads into both PCs ethernet mobo ports.

PC A can see PC B using remote desktop and its possible to send files between the two.
PC A can use the internet fine, PC B cannot even though the DSL connection is shared.

The ip's have been set manually on both machines to the following:

    PC A:
    ip 192.168.0.1
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway: blank

    PC B:
    ip 192.168.0.2
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1

The network setup wizard has been used to tell PC B that it should connect to the net via PC A. Yes i should get a router....I need a new one anyways after i killed the last one

Everything is fine yet PC B cannot go onto the internet.
    Any ideas? Thank you!
