    1- Update your global board settings: Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Site URL & Details Settings
    2- Update your vbulletin.com/members license details by clicking on 'edit license' and set the new URL.

    So if I change domain names, any way to have all my links in search engines redirect to my new domain name?

      Unfortunately .net/.org are the kiss of death unless you've got the .com

      Avoid hyphens like the plague, especially if you're going to do any form of radio or announcement marketing (This is the reason we have tentenths.info for radio and circuit announcements, the guy that owns tentenths.com is not parting with it as he thinks he can sell it to Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) who has tentenths.co.uk)

      Numbers are also useless unless they are part of your branding and advertising.

      Register as many variants of your domain as you can think of (and as many TLDs as you can afford) and use 301 re-direction where possible to your preferred domain name. This can be achieved in Apache using (our real example is shown below)

      If you have access to the web server config files the easiest is to add:
      Code:

      <VirtualHost 82.195.135.148:80>
      ServerName [url="http://www.10tenths.com/"]www.10tenths.com[/url]
      ServerAlias 10tenths.com
      ServerAlias [url="http://www.10-10ths.com/"]www.10-10ths.com[/url]
      ServerAlias [url="http://www.tentenths.info/"]www.tentenths.info[/url]
      ServerAlias ten-tenths.com
      ServerAlias [url="http://www.ten-tenths.co.uk/"]www.ten-tenths.co.uk[/url]
      ServerAlias ten-tenths.co.uk
      RedirectMatch 301 (.*) [url="http://www.ten-tenths.com$1/"]http://www.ten-tenths.com$1[/url]
      </VirtualHost>
      Other than that, good luck with finding a replacement
