  • Jelsoft missed the blog wave?

Don't get me wrong I like vbulletin for its purpose but it seems blogs have become the trend with MS, Google offering blogging pages.

So is Jelsoft also releasing some blogging software?

      blogging is soooo 2001 .

And vbulletin is forum software, not bloging software. I think more people here want jelsoft to spend time on forumsoftware then a useless blog IMO.

'Blog' Most Popular Word in Online Dictionary

Editors originally had planned to include "blog" in the 2005 annual update of Merriam-Webster's 11th Collegiate Dictionary. In the face of demand, however, the company quickly added an early definition to some of its online sites. Usually it takes about 20 years of usage for a word to become prominent enough to merit a place in a dictionary.

I would rather the developers work on the code than post entries in a blog. Not to mention it would have the same effect of posting an official announcement about a release date or software progress.

or give rival companies a source to eavesdrop on development on certain products...
