Did anyone here buy the addon vbauction

i know i did because there demo site worked great and had all the stuff i was after, but when i buyed it and got it my self it was bug full with total lack of support and now the sites gone 'http://vbauction.com/'

feel so ripped off by the person who owned it, anyone else here fall for the same thing i did and if so what have you done about it?

Ps i know its not anything to do with jelsoft, just hopeing others here might have been able to get there money back some how as it was a vb addon.

Yeah .. I made the mistake of buying it. Thought it would prove to be a good addition to my forum. Ha, that was a mistake.
I thought they were working on the bugs and was a regular contributor the their help forum.
Gave it up as a bad experience and never installed it afer the 3 attempt.
Not sure where to go from here.

I believe this was made by one of the people who run or did run http://vbstyles.com. I remember thats how I had found out about it. I went to the site and was about to purchase it when I started hearing about the complaints in their forum. Many people couldn't get it working after several installs. It could have been a good script.

I have been able to get on the site via a link on google, the main site as been taken away the index page to stop you getting on and so have the support forums.

Bad news is looks like they have edited the license agreement

If it really does not work and you where meant to get support which you do not now get then you should discuss it with your credit card company.

Bad news is looks like they have edited the license agreement

License Agreements cannot be changed retroactively. They would have to release a new version of the software and then those customers that installed it would be subject to the new license agreement.
