MSN Messenger v7.0 BETA

Has anyone downloaded the new MSN Messenger v7.0 BETA? I have just installed it and have noticed a few GUI improvements, and a few extra features like a "Nudge" feature. As well as some animated "winks". It also shows your contacts display picture on the "has signed in" popup.

What do you guys think about it? Better than expected? Or not as good?

It is like the feature on Yahoo Messenger, when you click it, it shakes the other persons msn window and makes a noise. It is designed to get their attention.

Very annoying feature, I already am quite annoyed sometimes when I am working hard that it flashes in other windows. I sometimes turn it off for certain people who just keep nagging me about useless things when I am important.

Recently I even uninstalled MSN on trillian just to avoid some people
(yes, ignore is an option, but msn kind of sucks anyway, I am on icq and irc and that should do it for IM hehe)

Yeah it's great. I can now use it at college until the sysadmin finds out everyone is using it . I don't think they've noticed that the new machines with xp they have installed also have xp messenger by default either so i'm sorted for now

You could use a offline stylesheet instead to make it look like a spellchecker or something instead of using the web msgr design, makes it less obvious and more like a program?

i like msn 6 but there will come a time when they say i wont be able to log in and have to update to 7 which kind of sucks cheesy things...

Yep, that is Microsoft for ya Which is why I enjoy using trillian. Sometimes you just get a program update and all your protocols and accesses are top notch again.

Leaked? I thought it was an official BETA release? Sort of like how AIM allows downloads of their BETA releases
