      Sorry.. something I just added in.

      Code:
              $today = date("m-d");
        $birthdays = $DB_site->query("select * from user where birthday like '%$today'");
        while($birthday = $DB_site->fetch_array($birthdays)  )
              {
              eval("\$birthday_bit .= \"".gettemplate("index_bday_bit")."\";");
              }
        eval("\$todays_bday = \"".gettemplate("index_bday")."\";");
      Add a template called index_bday and add $todays_bday to your main_index template.

          tha's ok.. I just have figured out..

          instead of index_bday_bit, I use calendar_showbirthdays

          and custom index_bday.. ^_^

          thanks!!

            Thanks

            If any of you folks who use this and have good graphics skills could donate a couple of hours to whip up a logo for me for a new site (my web hosting service)... I'd appreciate it.

            Cheers,
            Shri

                Many Thanks Shri

                This coding has helped me to setup the www.MovieGupShup.com and www.ShareNews.co.uk websites. I still plan to come up with more such websites where I will be using your templates

                  In perspective I wish I had not shared some of this in public.

                  Smartboy. I would prefer if you did not use this for designs you're PAID for.

                  Most of the folks who've used parts of this code have not even bothered to acknowledge it with some gratitude. Something that has me pissed off to the max.

                    If it really makes you that mad, delete your first post. I believe that would delete the entire thread. (I wouldn't blame you if you feel the way you seem to).

                      it won't let you delete the first post on this board.

                      you can edit it though.

                        Guess he could just edit all the posts with code, or could he edit the his first post and delete the rest?

                        p.s. Is it just me or is the reply screen real funky (extremely wide)

                          The reply is wide cuz of some of the code in the posts.

                          Actually I don't have a problem with people using it as long as they show some originality and modify it etc .. but putting up sites which look exactly like mine kinda sucks

                          I spoke to Smartboy and explained what my reasoning was ... he understands.

                          Cheers,
                          Shri
