    already downloaded it but yet to try it but did install directX 9.0c onto my SP1 install and very nice performance

        Go there to download, and read about changes. Most people will not have to download. The CD will be available free in Best Buy, Circuit City, and other retailers. It will also be available inside PC Magazines. I am glad they are doing this. It will encourage many more people to install it than if it was just available for download, and that is most people on dial-up.
