Google suspended my acount

They said they suspected us of using bots to click the ad's on our site and yanked our acount. We where well on our way to getting a dedcated server via the ad program and that is all for nothing now.

I've been told that there is no way to get the acount un-suspended, google reviewed it and told us skecty stuff was going on but did not give us any details. It seems there is no convicing them, so I guess we are going back to not running any ad's and paying for everything ourselves.

Where you making a considerable amount of money or was it rather normal? Maybe you got hit by a non-google spider than went crazy on your ads

That's EXACTLY what happened to me.

Here's a post i made at another forum about what Google did.:

The reason my account got disabled, from googles mouth:

A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including but
not limited to clicks generated by a publisher on his own web pages,
clicks generated through the use of robots, automated clicking tools, or
any other deceptive software.

I have NEVER run any bots, or any other kind of automatited clicking or anything. ever.

and i never, ever clicked on my own ads.

A made around $200 and just before when they should have mailed out the cheque, they sent that.

They didn't give me ANY warning, no prior e-mail to tell me about these so called actions, they just simply cancelled my account.

So if there were any kind of scripts run by anyone, they did not give me a chance to investigate.

And to add insult to injury, when i e-mailed them back for any more information regarding this, they replied in a condescending , and in my opinion rude manner.

And then they just stopped replying to my e-mails when i asked for a phone number to contact an actual person on. i was never rude or anything in my e-mails.

I'm still looking to persue this matter though.

Of course, i understand any revenue on a site is a good thing, and i really hope it works out for you. just giving you a warning of what could happen, and that you're constantly treading on eggshells with them.

EDIT: there's another google-like ad program starting up, apparantly it's stille in beta. they're going to e-mail me when it's out of beta.

Thats a bugger. My girlfriend and I always have click-a-thons every once and a while just to rack up some clicks, but they've never said anything to me. Where you making a considerable amount of money or was it rather normal? Maybe you got hit by a non-google spider than went crazy on your ads

My community has 63 total members and mabey 20 active ones. But when I say active I mean it, i'm betting they went crazy on the ad's because we where making ALOT more then expected.

Wow, thanks for getting me in trouble too Google sent me a letter today saying that they suspect that robots clicking my ads also. They have not suspended me yet, but a letter can't be good. I'm going to give them a call today.

The second one will come soon just you wait, this whole situation has really got me sore with google, considering the overall rudeness of their staff.

BTW nebby they have stopped responding to my emails to.

The google anti-robot clicking policy is great. Without much effort you can crush your competition by just mass clicking their links for a month. thumbsup

I was joking. I always joke with her about "We can order pizza tonight if you click the ads" I don't have the time or desire to sit on my website and click ads.
