    Slightly different, but I have seen a picture of a condom packet that said "Not tested on animals" on the back. :s

      If you've actually read what happened in this case, it isn't as frivolous as everyone seems to portray it. It wasn't a question of the lady being so stupid to not know that coffee it hot. She won because she was able to prove that McDonalds was keeping their coffee at a temperature that was higher than the industry accepted standard. She was negligent for her actions but McDonalds was negligent for burns that were excessive due to their temperatures.

      .. and yes that picture has been modified.

          There is no such thing as presonal responsiblity anymore. Find a loophole, sue someone, get rich, get fat, live the american dream.

            We had a case like that in the UK with the frosted pop tarts that you put in the toaster; if you grabbed them when they came out the melted sugar could stick to your hands and cause serious burns. Anyway, they changed the packaging.
