Download images from a server directory

HI all

I have tried to download a whole directory that contains images on my server with no luck. I have tried FTP Pro as well as Cute FTP. Both of these get about 10 imaged downloaded and then just stop.

I would like to get all of the thousands of images downloaded so that I can transfer the complete site to a differant server.

Does anyone know of a Windows program that will simply go to a directory on a server and download all the images it finds there?

Why not do a server-to-server transfer?
Also try FlashFXP, very reliable.

FlashFXP fails to transfer the same directory again and again.

I have opened a support ticket with my host asking them if they can just do the transfer. I would do a complete home backup and use that but then I would lose alot of stuff on the destination server.

Another idea, tar/gzip everything you want then use a download manager to download, it has more reliable ways to connect and can use multiple streams. GetRight comes to mind.
