question how google Spider and get my Admin Link

i really need to know how the hell google get my Admin Link i was testing today to search in google and see i find my Admin Link

They probaly grabed a url that led to user options.

How do you know they were in your admincp per say?

Hm, that's strange.

On my forums i have the problem that google wants to access threads which are in the admin area and (normally) invisible to all but my team. We never posted any link to that threads but google tries to index them.
I have theory for that: google optimizes their bots for bulletin boards. Jelsoft has sold a lot of vbulletins and most of them contain various information which may be important for a searchengine and therefore google wants to spider it all and adds the threadid by their own.

This could be the same for you. Google may know that url because it's the same on every vB and so it spiders it. I don't see the point, but it's google

As i see now, you already changed the admin folder.... Maybe a user noticed that and posted a url in a forum with an advice like 'let's hack him, i found the admin panel'

There is a link in the profile of each user that links back to the admin CP ('User Options'), maybe that?

You are using the google toolbar, you essentially gave them the URL. DOH!
