  • Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse Issues

I already have a Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse. I just bought the Logitech DiNovo Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The reason why I bought the Logitech set was because everytime I turned my computer on or brought it out of screen saver mode using the Microsoft set, it took a minute for the mouse and keyboard to "re-acquire" the signal so it would start working. Well the DiNovo set is doing the exact same thing. I'm thinking that this is a Bluetooth thing. The only advantage to having the DiNovo set now is that it will allow me to boot into BIOS if I need to. I have a hardwired keyboard that I could easily plug in to avoid this problem. So now I have to ask myself why I should keep this? Does anybody else have this problem or is it just me?

It only takes my mouse or keyboard a few seconds to wake up then everything is fine.

I dont have the problems you describe

I have a diNovo as well, and it never takes more than about a second or 2 for it to 'wake up.' I'm thinking it might be a problem with your bluetooth stack or something. Try uninstalling the drivers completely and reinstalling.

I shouldn't have said a "minute", it is in fact only a second or two. Is there a way to change this because this is very annoying? The only advantage that I'm seeing for keeping it is the fact I can boot into BIOS with it.

Its normal because of the battery conservation. No way to fix it. It doesnt bother me any. I'd just deal with it.

I may just return it then since I already have a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboad/mouse combination that works just as well. While I still have it though, how come I have so many problems with the Media Pad? I won't connect. I hit the button on the bottom of the Media Pad then hit the connect button on the Bluetooth Hub and then nothing happens.

I uninstalled the diNovo's drivers and now I only get the 1 a 2 second delay when you start using them after a while again. No longer the annoying re-pairing upon windows-start.

Only problem is that I can't get my Nokia 6230 paired with my computer through the BT-hub
