Opinions on new vB staff avatars

This is simple.

Do you like, dislike, or have no opinion either way about the new avatars for the Jelsoft team members.

Please give reasons for your view.


As for me, I do like them.
They give a uniform look to the staff members and fall inline with the established vBulletin style.
Icons give an "at a glance" impression of the staff member's function i.e. cash sack = finance, speach bubble = support, tools = dev, food = Scott, and maybe more I've not yet noticed.

So, they get my thumbs up

I just don't like the backgrounds , that look like waves, ocean waves
And are those balloons, on the Support teams Av's ?

I think the size/colour is ok..

Well some people shouldn't talk. Based on links in signatures and the portfolio's presented, I could say the same of some who continually complain about the graphics.

Personally, I like the avatars because they denote a presence and are not simply some recycled abstract graphic with little or no meaning.
