converting Guest viewing to registered members?

Hi

We operate a local web hosting community forum and I noticed that there are many guest viewing in the forum, how can I convert them into registered members?

They have to take the initiative and register on their own.

what about any tactics , such as allowing only registered member to access the forums.. and so on?

yes you can do that in Admin cp

I would be against viewing the board only for registered members. I will never register at a board that I can't see first. I'm not sure there is a way to get people to register short of offering them some extra special things.
