      Yet why would I not see “”new topic””?

      even in this forum .. only “mark this chanel read”

      i did update the email address way back when.

        Maybe it never actually linked my forum account to my license. I've looked around .. can you share exactly where that occurs?

        From 2009-2013 I did have an earlier account here with about 14 posts, "Steven Avery" with a different forum account number, but I can not get into that because it has an email address from years back - and "forgot password" only used email addresses. I mention that in case it could cause a problem. (Also wonder if the account can be fixed, or merged.)

        When I go to the vbulletin.org modifications forum site it says
        "You are currently showing up as unlicensed."
        "To prove that you are a valid vBulletin license holder, the email address submitted here must match one of the following sites:
        vbulletin.com"

        Yet both forums and the "My Dashboard" all have the same email address.

        =====================================

        This is all somewhat of a circular catch-22
