Not trying to be mean, but most of the boards nominated use Vbulletin 3. So, since you seem like you know a lot about VB, I would assume you know that nobody would be stupid enough to make a "OMFG WOW" design when they have to redo it all anyways. I can't speak for VB.nl and Sitepoint, but I know I have put 50+ hours on my style between customizing it, upgrading it to Beta 7, and adding the frontend. So, sure, it may not be ultra wowing, but it is unique =) Anyways, just vote for the board you like best.

I never thought of this as "vBulletin Design of the Month". It takes a lot more than a "wow" design to make a community or a board that people would like to visit. I always vote for the board that makes me want to join. This includes looking at posts, checking out the staff members and the general tenor of the community to see if it would be a fun place to visit on a regular basis.

That overall is more important than whether it is graphically pleasing.

                    • To all arabs that received a call to come to this forum and vote for the arab site, please hold your votes: as you can see this is just a nomination round; and obviously, it has already been picked. So please next time: don't be so obvious by clicking a link and replying to it without even reading the thread:

My bad. I was always under the impression that it's more about design than content. However, I totally agree that content is just as important as well. In fact, the combination of two, as you say, makes for a good community.

                        I nominate: http://www.sitepointforums.com/

 That which is obvious, needs no introduction.
