I need help with my forum layout

I need some help with my forums layout.

my forum is currently at http://forums.gamegeared.com and if you go there you will see a gray box in the top right. I want to remove the welcome panel and put the parts of it up in the gray box.

I want to include things like the avatar, username, new posts and new threads.


Can anyone help me with this? Please i really need this.

yeah i know.

One of our network sites used over 7gigs of bandwith in like a week or two.

ook at the image below it is the top of the layout. (i couldn't attach a picture of the whole thing it was to large. So thisis only the very top of the layout)

The gray box up the top right all the html stuff for it is in the header template. And thats where i want to put a modified version of the welcome panel text. With things like current avatar, new pots and threads etc.

We want to kind of look like what is seen in the picture. The text in the picture was drawn into the picture itselfit is not actually thre on the layout.
