    [HowTo] Add the "Date" to a Calendar Event?

    What does this one do?
    When viewing a calendar event, you get the type, submitter, subject and event information, but not the date of the event. Which is kind of handy, especially since we are browsing a calendar! This template modification will add a new row to the table with the date of the event!

    Why did you make it?
    Because I was missing it big time!
    • Instructions:
    • Goto the Admin Control Panel and login as an administrator
    • From the left menu, browse down to the 'Templates' section and click on 'Modify'.
    • Expand until you have the templates from the 'Calendar Events' in front of you.
    • Open: template "calendar_daybits"
    • Find:
      Code:
      <table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="{[I][/I]tableinnerborderwidth}" border="0" {[I][/I]tableinnerextra} width="100%">
    • And add the following right behind it:
      Code:
      <tr bgcolor="{[I][/I]secondaltcolor}">
      	<td valign="top" nowrap><normalfont><b>Date:</b></normalfont></td>
      	<td><normalfont>$in[I][/I]fo[eventdate]</normalfont</td>
      </tr>
    • And click on 'Save Changes' button to save the template.

    Done!

    Version?
    Tested with vBulletin 2.2.5 and works just great!

    The Result
    This is how it looks on my web site:

            Well 'in awe' is a bit of an overstatement.
