  • [vB4] How can I get my logo in the center of the header area of a browser page?

    Hi!
    I have a specific problem. My vbulletin site has fixed width via doc_width variable (850px) and I made it centered via doc_margin variable. Ok, now I need to place a very long logo to be centered in a browser page.. beginning not from the left corner of vbulletin header, but from the top left corner of a browser page. Is that possible?

      Add this to your additional.css template:

      Code:
      .logo-image {
              margin-left: auto;
              margin-right: auto;
      }

        Andy, just added, guess it won't help as the ".logo-image" works just in the borders of vbulletin header, but I need a browser header..

          Perhaps you can post an image of what you would like it to look like.

            You can see the image on the site in header:
            Code:
            http://test.armkb.com/
            htaccess:
            login: test
            pass: gxzny
            I need to make it centered..

              Have you tried style manager>edit template>header
              at the very beginning try:
              <center> img code </center>
              www.cdmagurus.com
              www.cellphone-gurus.com

                Andy his titleimage is 1226px wide while the forum is somewhere between 700 to 900px wide. Only way I see to make that image fit a browser is to make it the doc_background image and lock it centered and at the top with no repeat.
                ...

                  I put the logo image at the doc_background variable: Background Image - url(images/misc/logo.jpg), Background Repeat - No Repeat. You can see the result. It is not what I'm looking for
                  And what about doc_background variable.. I want to use it to tile with a small picture all the page background, so it is not a good idea to use it another way..

                        I suspect that doing what you want to do would require some template edits. I suggest keeping the templates as stock as possible. Why not just make the forum width match the header image width?
