  • How do you do have multiple graphic styles?

I'm not jut talking about a simple switch inside the html top header to a corresponding graphic style

For example, right now, our style is using this

note that right now, where it say Shinraonline and has the user CP etc buttons on the bottom, that part is where I want to be changed, to look like this

Now, I want to give the users the ability to switch between the two style, if they dont like the new one they can always go back to the old one. Not to mention that there are multiple styles that I plan to do that all have a different interface

I am changing the header part inside hte modify style portion in the field for Header (modifying the new Style I made). However, by doing that, it changes the code for the ORIGINAL style as well, which I dont want.

Now for the property of the new style, in the Replacement Set, it's set to make a new one. On the Template Set, it is set to the old set, because there is a lot of things in the forum coding and hacks that needs to use the template set.

By setting the Template set to new, the header DOES change and is seperate from the old header style, however, in doing so it takes away all the hacks as well

To summarize, Is there a way to have multiple style that cretes a truly differnet interface rather then just skins, with all of them sharing the same Template?

Why share the same template system?
I mean I have multiple copies of a template up, and ton of styles, I have ones that look similar just different colors on one template system. You just copy the templates, as well as the style, it can be done easily, and you just put the images of one group into the defualt image, and the others into a folder....see not as hard as you thought, hope it could help
