    How can I change my avatars template so that it looks like this in both the registration as well as the user cp?

    This is what it currently looks like:
    ___________________________________________________
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>$bbtitle - Avatars</title>
    $headinclude
    </head>
    <body>
    $header

    <br>

    <table cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
    <tr>
    <td>

    <p><normalfont>Avatars are small graphical images that you may choose in your profile.
    They are displayed below your username on all posts that you make.
    You can select the image that best describes yourself from your profile options.</normalfont></p>

    <p><normalfont>Here's the list of currently available avatars:</normalfont></p>

    $avatarbits

    <p><normalfont>If you have more than $avatarcustomposts posts, you may also specify your own custom avatar.</normalfont></p>

    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    $footer

    </body>
    </html>

      Someone already answered this for you in another thread you posted. It's a hack and you need to check over at vbulletin.org.
