  • [vB4] Change color of pagination arrows

I have changed the color of my pagination boxes, and now I need to use black arrows instead of the default. Images/pagination/ has them, with a -black suffix to the name.

First, previous, next and last are the image names.

    The pagenav template says
    Code:
    <img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_pagination}/next-{vb:stylevar right}.png"
so I guess I have to change the stylevar 'right'.

But 'right' does not appear as a stylevar in my Admin CP.

Do I have to add a stylevar, named 'right' with the value '-black' ? How do I add a stylevar?

The arrows are actual images, you will need to create new coloured versions of the images.

    They are called:

    images/pagination/first-right.png
    images/pagination/last-right.png
    images/pagination/next-right.png
    images/pagination/previous-right.png

      Thanks Mark.

The images I want to use are already there in the pagination directory, named:

      images/pagination/first-right-black.png
      images/pagination/last-right-black.png
      images/pagination/next-right-black.png
      images/pagination/previous-right-black.png

so I suppose I have to rename the image files, and not call up a different file using stylevars. It kind of defeats the selection of style by user choice, but I can live with that.

You can specify a different folder in the stylevars...search for "pagination"....and put the images in there for this other style.

On my site, each style has its own complete folder, even if the images are the same in some cases.

        Default is in /images/
        Red is in /red/
        etc
