Images on Theme don't show

  • [vB4] Images on Theme don't show

    I have been through this over and over. Downloaded just like the read me files say and the themes come out with no images why?

    You need to upload those images to the appropriate direcortories, then make sure the ImagePath Stylevars point to their correct location.

        Then you should contact the style author for further assistance.

          This is the only thing in this software that aggravates the tee total crap out of me! Everything else I can figure out by trial and error and with a little help from here but this theme junk is literally for the birds! They are not consistent in where they tell you to out the files one says vb directory another says images folder? Do they even know what they are doing? I got half mine to leave the default theme and forget it but it won't look right with the logo design I have.....oh well I will keep messing around with it if I screw up I can always re-install!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            You are installing a custom style from somewhere else. You need to upload the images for that style to the appropriate directories, then change the image paths here:

            The Image Path settings for vB4 are here:

            Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> style name -> StyleVars -> ImagePaths

            If you do not understand those instructions or somehow they do not work, then you need to get specific instructions for that custom style from the author.
