  • [vB4] StyleVar for the input box - can't find it

Been driving myself nuts finding where to change the background in the input box once it is clicked. Currently mine goes to dang near black and with black text, it is a bugger to read what you are typing in. Been through the .pdf tutorials for skinning and still can't find it.

I used firebug to find it is called "primary full textbox" this issue is in all input boxes... title, tags, and trackbacks.

Do a search in templates for these to find the background:
    .formcontrols .blockrow input.textbox:focus
    .formcontrols .blockrow input.textarea:focus

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

Perfect! The stylevar that covers that is "control_focus_background" It is located in the "Common" StyleVars in the case anyone else is looking for the control.

        Thanks a ton Lynn!
