    In 'forumdisplay_announcement' change:

    PHP Code:
    <td bgcolor="#DFDFDF" colspan="5"><normalfont>Announcement
    to:

    PHP Code:
    <td bgcolor="#DFDFDF" colspan="6"><normalfont>Announcement
(ignoring the colour codes, of course Basically, just change the colspan value)

Do you mean in the subforum Educational Threads? If so, I really don't know. It is another forum, so I don't know if it is possible to add one there. If it is possible, that would be great. Does anyone else know?

Something I am trying to do now that I need help on is change it to read "2 Announcement(s) Most Recent: Blah, Blah, Blah from ptbyjason". Does anyone know how to get the announcecount on the forum page like that?

    Thanks MarkB, great template change.

You can see the way it looks in the forum and the announcement.

Ok, I tried it here by replacing all the whole template, but now there is a big space on the right hand side. I will play with it some, I thought I might have messed up. Any ideas?

I like the new look. I will definitely do this, but I have one question first. Do I replace all the code with what you provided, or just replace part of it?

    started a topic Streamlined Announcements

    Streamlined Announcements

This mod won't be for everyone (if anyone!)

I was tired of my forum announcements looking the same as general posts within a forum, and like general threads on the actual announcements page (ie, with the avatars and all), so decided to strip them down a little to make it less "post-y"

    Examples:

    Forum page

    Announcements page

Just replace the templates noted in the attachment with the relative values:
widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
Working...
