I was tired of my forum announcements looking the same as general posts within a forum, and like general threads on the actual announcements page (ie, with the avatars and all), so decided to strip them down a little to make it less "post-y"
I like the new look. I will definitely do this, but I have one question first. Do I replace all the code with what you provided, or just replace part of it?
Ok, I tried it here by replacing all the whole template, but now there is a big space on the right hand side. I will play with it some, I thought I might have messed up. Any ideas?
How would I go about putting the announcement in the seperate, smaller section you have right above your main forums content?
Do you mean in the subforum Educational Threads? If so, I really don't know. It is another forum, so I don't know if it is possible to add one there. If it is possible, that would be great. Does anyone else know?
Something I am trying to do now that I need help on is change it to read "2 Announcement(s) Most Recent: Blah, Blah, Blah from ptbyjason". Does anyone know how to get the announcecount on the forum page like that?
this is nice! i kept my own version of announcebit and whatnot,
but i really liked the change made to forumdisplay_announcement,
so yah, that is what i implemented from here.
