    I was afraid of that. I did play with various pixel heights trying to find the best balance, but I like neither the overly wide spacing needed to solidly color the column nor the gaps. Both look just a bit awkward.

    Maybe I'll just make the colors the same.

    I added it to the additional.css, and it's almost perfect. Thanks.

    The only drawback is that it stretches every thread vertically, ultimately adding a lot of extra, empty space. Is there a variable for thread height I could use rather than hard coding to 40 px?

    replies/view column background

    When the title/thread starter column wraps text or has page numbers or otherwise gets a little taller, the background of the replies/views column gets a gap at the bottom, as in the attached image.

    How can I get the background to stretch all the way down to close that gap?
