  • [vB4] Some stylevar problems

    Hi, I'm trying to adapt old styles (because its manufacturer closed his site) and having some problems.

    1) As you can see, there are white (or gray) lines that I don't like and can't change to another color. My border color settings never apply to these lines, how can I change them?

    2) Like first situation, I cannot remove these lines, is there a way?

    3) I couldn't find a way to change the color of text color in textboxes or wysiwyg editors. I also couldn't find a way to change the background color of navbar search box or title box.

    Thank you very much for your answers.

    The border looks to be set in ".threadbit .nonsticky, .threadbit .deleted, .threadbit .discussionrow, .threadbit .ignored" So a search in templates for part of that to find it.

    The one on the forumdisplay page looks to be set in ".forumhead"

    Editor stuff has been posted a few times:
    Code:
    /* color of text boxes and textareas for editors */
    body.wysiwyg {color: pink;}
    .editor_textbox textarea, .editor_textbox iframe {color: green;}
    body.wysiwyg {background: pink;}
    .editor_textbox textarea, .editor_textbox iframe {background: green;}

          Excellent tip. Thanks Andy. Made me pull out my finger and fix my install of Firefox. (I generally browse with Opera and I wasn't too perturbed that Firefox wasn't working...... Reading the post above convinced me that I needed Firefox...).. Thanks mate.

            There are some problems that I can't solve even with Firebug. For example, how can I change the color of white border on top of sticky threads's cells?

              You needed to scroll down a bit in Firebug (bottom right) and find this:

              .threadbit .sticky {

              That is what controls borders of sticky threads.
