    Hey guys,

Sorry for all the basic arguments and the double post. This is Eric now (Founder, head admin), that was Josh earlier who helped paid for the forum and has contributed to the development.

I have been in the hospital for about the last month and wasn't aware of this entire topic/request until I was sent the link and received email notifications. I'll see what I can do to find the workaround and the solution for this.

Thanks for all the help over the years.

    Cheers
    Eric

Thank you for the courteous response, I'll find some spare time to figure out what he did and get back to the members. If I'm not too busy with other projects.

Sorry you feel that way however I wasn't actually having a go. I was merely pointing out to you that you still had an issue despite you sayiong that it was resolved, after all that's why we're here - to help isn't it?

You're right though, you're not obligated to do or say anything on here to anyone about a fix that has been figured out on a problem you asked for help on here for but again, it would be nice to help others out when you've asked others for your help initially.

    Best wishes with your site.

Trev (genius - like the sound of that actually...)

The overhang is gone now, genius.

It still isn't quite working in IE still but it works for both Safari and Firefox

Perhaps to aid others on here, you could ask your fellow admin how they figured it out so others may know how how this is done - that is, after all, the point of support forums isn't it?
Perhaps. But I'm not obligated to do anything. And with the members getting on my case about how to do this, it makes me less apt to take the time and effort figuring it out and passing it on to all the people whining about it.

I'm completely joking mate, hence the smiley at the end, and honestly who quotes the joker on a serious note haha?

I'll be sure to make it very clear next time that I'm kidding, adding the specific reasons why it's a joke in a bulleted list.

I don't do Reputation usually, so it's a good thing vB.com has negative rep turned off. I guess my only solace is that you don't have it fixed, in either theme. I'm sure you think you do though, if you only use one browser to check your work. And to top it off, you've managed to have about 130 validation errors in code.

    I feel better now.

started a topic Need some help with curved background

Need some help with curved background

Well I finally figured out how to make my background curved,

By using this code for my header:

    <img src="http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/7164/leftimg.png" align="left"><div style="background: url(http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/7582/gradient.png) repeat-x"><img src="http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/7505/rightimg.png" align="right">
    and for my footer:

    <img src="http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/545/bottomleftimg.png" align="left"><div style="background: url(http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/2952/gradientt.png) repeat-x"><img src="http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/1958/bottomrightimg.png" align="right">
The problem is that this only works when I have the Main Table Width percentage set to 100%, which I'd like to have set lower to like 90% or even 95%

This is what it looks like at 90%

Notice the top part is all messed up? How do I change the coding to fix it?

    Thanks for the help!
