    If you want custom ones, google for favicon icons, and you'll probably find a lot of them. Favicon is not something exclusive to vbulletin, but to all websites in general.

          I put it in the main forums directory and also in the forums/images/misc directory and still not showing up. where should I put the ico file?

            I added a bunch and I want to keep only 8 in the reply window before clicking "more"

            I changed the "per page" to 8 and saved but then it keep defaulting back to 20


            what am I doing wrong?

                  when I am in smile manager I change the per page to 8. (in this pic you see it as default of 20. when I change it to 8 and click save, if always defaults back to 20.

                    The Smilie Manager value is temporary while you are visiting the smilie manager that particular time.

                    To change the number of smilies shown on the newpost and newthread editor screens go to vBulletin Options -> Message Posting Interface Options and reduce the number there.

                            check out for the user banning settings in vbulletin options in admincp. You do have the option to ban specific or a complete range of IP's
