      • Well, when I try to run vButton, it says "The required apllication: Photoshop 6 does not appear to be installed."

            • Doesn't work for PS7 for me...

I'd hate to have to reinstall PS6 in order to use this again... *sigh*

              • I got the same error...

                Why is that?

                • This does NOT work with PhotoShop 7 in any way, shape or form.
The person above probably didn't realize vbutton.exe launched PS6 automatically...

                  • Photoshop 7 : It works fine with it

Tested and approved with Photoshop 7

                    on Windows 2000 SP2 (without com+ updates)

By the way, if you are more familiar with Photoshop
and want to or have to make new buttons set without
the little application described in this thread, you still
can try this photoshop action set (button6.zip) :

                    Good work.
                    Thank.

I don't see how that can be...a clean install of PS7 on a virgin Windows XP Pro computer yields a non-working vbutton application. Perhaps your PS7 install is an upgrade?

                      • Blame XP (even if it is not true )

                        Nope.
It is a clean Photoshop 7 full installation from an official release
                        on a clean windows 2000.

So. I'd like to say it is the XP things again.
                        I personnaly Hate XP.

So if it is not XP, it doesn't matter

                            • Yeah but why have 2 versions of Photoshop installed when version 7 is better than 6 ?

                              • You missed the point.

VButton was written for version 6.

It will not work with version 7 (unless 6 is also installed).
