Some of the actions start working on the currently selected layer, and if your psd file has a different one it will break the action script. Also certain layers are showing, and certain layers are hidden in the original, the actions scripts are based on this.

If you do use modifed PSD files, you need to make sure when you save it, that the layer names are identical, the same layers are showing or hiding, and the same layer is selected as in the original.

Hehe...I have a dual PIII 700 overclocked to 150fsb (1050MHz each) with 512Mb of Crucial CAS2 PC133. Pretty nippy for photoshop 6

Seriously though, the Visual Basic part would be easy.

The photoshop actions part would be pretty impossible.
