    Put RSS2 and RSS buttons on forum homepage
    (Based on permission, if you have RSS2 or RSS switched off, the images will not be displayed on your forumhome forum categorys.)

    This is a varation on the other RSS mod already posted here, but played with to suit my board.

    1: This is XHTML valid
    2: If you have RSS2 or RSS feeds turned off in your admin cp, the images will not be displayed. And are when turned on, they will and can be clicked to lead to the RSS feeds for that forum board.

    Look for this code in: forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
    Code:
     <td class="alt2" nowrap="nowrap">$forum[lastpostinfo]</td>
    Replace it with this code:

    Code:
    <td class="alt2" nowrap="nowrap">$forum[lastpostinfo]
    [COLOR=red]<if condition="$vboptions[externalrss]"><a href="external.php?type=RSS2&amp;forumids=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/misc/rss2.gif" border="0" align="$stylevar[left]" alt="$forum[title] - RSS2" /></a></if>[/COLOR]
    [COLOR=red]<if condition="$vboptions[externalxml]"><a href="external.php?type=RSS&amp;forumids=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/misc/rss.gif" border="0" align="$stylevar[left]" alt="$forum[title] - RSS" /></a></if>[/COLOR]
    </td>
    If you have certain private forum board categories on your forumhome that only you as admin can see and will display no RSS Feeds anyway based on forum permissions, that you would like to not have the RSS images displayed on at all (which would be pretty pointless, because they won't show feeds). Use this code at the beginging and end of the code above, to exclude the RSS images from being displayed on those board categorys regardless of wether you have RSS enabled or not in your admincp.

    Just edit the "1,2,3,4" numbers to exclude the board categorys you don't want the RSS images displayed on your forumhome.

    Code:
    [COLOR=#ff0000]<if condition="!in_array($forumid, array(1,2,3,4))">[/COLOR]
    [COLOR=black]Code Goes here[/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#ff0000]</if>[/COLOR]
    So it would look like this below, with the extra code added highlighted in BOLD

    [code]
    Code:
    <td class="alt2" nowrap="nowrap">$forum[lastpostinfo]
    [COLOR=red][B]<if condition="!in_array($forumid, array(1,2,3,4))">[/B][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=red]<if condition="$vboptions[externalrss]"><a href="external.php?type=RSS2&amp;forumids=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/misc/rss2.gif" border="0" align="$stylevar[left]" alt="$forum[title] - RSS2" /></a></if>[/COLOR]
    [COLOR=red]<if condition="$vboptions[externalxml]"><a href="external.php?type=RSS&amp;forumids=$forum[forumid]"><img src="images/misc/rss.gif" border="0" align="$stylevar[left]" alt="$forum[title] - RSS" /></a></if>[B]</if>[/B][/COLOR]
    </td>
    Download the two RSS images I've attached below and pout them in your "images/misc" directory.
