  • adding a background/border to my style

    My forum is here: http://forums.michiganclassics.com

    It was recommended I use something other than white on the outside edges of my forum.

    How do I edit this portion of the template/style?

    I'm thinking to use the ashpault color that is on the right side of my header banner or maybe a lighter gray color.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

      Thanks Floris.

      I should have been more clear. I'm looking to add a colored backgroud image.

      For example, this forum uses a black background that appears all around the forum code.

        on the body class you can add custom css code in the textaera on the right.

        background-image: url(background.gif);

          May I specify an HTML color code or do I need to use a .gif image?

            The class I referred to already has by default the hex value, you said you didn't want that (that's what I gathered) and the demo you showed me used an image in the background.

            body = outer color
            page = body of forum

            The link with the map intro defines it all
