    Like I said a link to your site is going to be the best way for us to help, if we are at all able to.

    could it be this bit? and if so, does it matter where in the template I put it?

    Code:
        <if condition="$show['searchbuttons']">
        <!-- header quick search form -->
        <div class="vbmenu_popup" id="navbar_search_menu" style="display:none">
            <form action="search.php?do=process" method="post">
            <table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" border="0">
            <tr>
                <td class="thead">$vbphrase[search_forums]</td>
            </tr>
            <tr>
                <td class="vbmenu_option" title="nohilite">
                    <input type="hidden" name="do" value="process" />
                    <input type="hidden" name="quicksearch" value="1" />
                    <input type="hidden" name="childforums" value="1" />
                    <input type="hidden" name="exactname" value="1" />
                    <input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" />
                    <div><input type="text" class="bginput" name="query" size="25" tabindex="1001" /><input type="submit" class="button" value="$vbphrase[go]" tabindex="1004" /></div>
                </td>
            </tr>
            <tr>
                <td class="vbmenu_option" title="nohilite">
                    <label for="rb_nb_sp0"><input type="radio" name="showposts" value="0" id="rb_nb_sp0" tabindex="1002" checked="checked" />$vbphrase[show_threads]</label>
                    &nbsp;
                    <label for="rb_nb_sp1"><input type="radio" name="showposts" value="1" id="rb_nb_sp1" tabindex="1003" />$vbphrase[show_posts]</label>
                </td>
            </tr>
            <tr>
                <td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="search.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="4" rel="nofollow">$vbphrase[advanced_search]</a></td>
            </tr>
            </table>
            </form>
        </div>
        <!-- / header quick search form -->
        </if>

    EDIT: Yup, that solved it all ^^

    Sorta hard to give you exacts, its not just one bit of code that could be missing.

    Navbar - Search - no dropdown??!

    Hi there! I just customized my navbar template, and now the search dropdown doesn't work. The quick links work fine though.

    What have I missed?
widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
Working...
