Custom Designed websites.

Hi folks -
I'm looking for a listing of VB forums that had custom styles designed for it.

I'm trying to get ideas for custom forums prior to hiring a developer to develop one for me. I understand various professional companies provide portfolios, but I'm wanting to see live, in use forums.

Specifically, I'm looking for anything dark background, reddish orange themes.

Those are the best of the best...

You should really just find a regular 'site' that you like, or a theme that you'd like to create, and have your developer create a skin based on that.

That's what I did...worked out great.

Best of the best is relative - especially since you apparently have something particular in mind.

Check out vb's 'board of the month', but why not go to some of the CSS galleries and find a really stunning design, and have a developer build a skin from that?

If you're looking for truly stunning designs, places like CSS Beauty are where you should be looking.
