    Wrong phrase. You need to restore the powered_by_vbulletin phrase.

    Then change this phrase:

    x_powered_by_vbulletin

    From this:

    {1} - powered by vBulletin

    To this:

    {1}

    Well that is very possible.

    I did everything they said, the Default Text won't save or something.

    Ok. I tried removing but it doesn't let me edit the Powered by on the title.

    You can remove the "Powered By" stuff from the page title, you just can't remove the copyright in the footer, unless you own the branding free license.

    Isn't it illegal to remove copyright texts without buying a copyright removal lisence, or you already bought it and then applied it?

    Great tip about the Phrase manager! I also just bought vB and was getting started on it myself.

    One thing though - I was trying to update the new visitor text through the Phrase manager and was hitting an odd server error when using the admincp (vb 3.5.1 - linux, hosted install):
    Forbidden

    You don't have permission to access /forums/administrate/phrase.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.34 Server Any suggestions for trying to get around this? I was trying to alter the varname $vbphrase[first_visit_message]. Thanks! -Hopeful new admin for an up-and-coming board.

    No problem. The phrase system is awesome once you get into it a bit.
