changing the color of buttons while maintain 3d quality

i downloaded the large, layered version to play around with the buttons.

i want to change the blue buttons to an orange color but i can't seem to do it while still maintaining the 3d look.

any ideas?

Just in case photoshop doesn't pan out, where would I find the release form? I just looked and can't seem to find it.

you can find the files in the members area: http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport.php

to change the color of the buttons:
1. open the file in PS
2. select the 'color' layer
3. open the color picker and go the color that you want the button to be. before you close the color picker window, look at the right hand side and write down the values for H and S
4. go to image> adjustments > hue/saturation
5. in the hue/saturation box that pops up, check the colorize checkbox
6. now type the H value for Hue and the S value for Saturation.

now your button should be the exact color you wanted. resize the image to the size you need. adjust drop shadows as necessary.

I am trying to change the colors on the buttons and when I click to resize them, the text is all blurry and looks bad. Some of those files I can't even get open.

you need to adjust the drop shadow. it might be better to erase the text and then retype it after you resize it.
