  • My FIRST attempt

at some kind of "custom" style. I need to get some new buttons, and there are probably more tweaks I can do to "finish" it up. However, after I overcame the fear of accidently erasing my forum, I gave it a shot.

What do you all think? (vs the stock look)

Looks pretty clean cut. I like the feel you give with the multiple images fading.

All in all, pretty nice for a first time.

Nice color scheme. My only suggestion would be to choose a different color for link hovers. It's hard to find a color that works well against a gray background, but yellow is a tad too bright. A shade of blue usually works pretty good, or somewhere in the maroon area of reds.

        Nice job otherwise.

Thanks, I fixed the hovers as the yellow was bothering me too. I just used the maroon theme. The only thing I'm missing now is a button pacakge. Basically, I want almost all the buttons to stay the same but just need new colors for them. The only buttons I want to change are the little icons on the main forum that indicated if there are new posts in a forum or not. I want to make them little checkered flags or something....
