  • How to change a button-function

    How can I give to "reset field" button, the "register" function??

  • #2
    As far as I know that would require modifying the code, at least if you want to transfer the username they entered into the field.

    Otherwise, it might be possible by closing the </form> and opening a new one which points to the register.php.

        In the STANDARD_ERROR template search to this part:

        PHP Code:
        <input type="reset" class="button" value="$vbphrase[reset_fields]accesskey="r" tabindex="1" />
        Change it to this:

        PHP Code:
        <input type="button" class="button" value="Register Now" onclick="window.location.href='$vboptions[bburl]/register.php?do=signup';" title="Register Now" tabindex="1" /></a
        You can basically use the above structure to make any link into a simple link button. Just change the values (i.e., input type/value/onclick/onmouseover/onmouseout/onmousehover/title/accesskey/tabindex) to what you need.
