You could also just remove the image from the header template.

I was a little confused because when I look at the properties it didn't seem like a image.

right-click on the purple part you want to change and choose save as menu_background.gif

the open that up in photoshop or whatever and fill in what color you want. then save it and upload that to your images/ folder and voila!

So what you are saying, that color is a graphic I can replace with another. What is the size,meaning 150x whatever. Or do I change the color code.

That purple is coming from the menu_background.gif image.

Can someone look at my site. You will see my logo and the color of the back ground. Just to the right is the vb purplr with the links. How do I change that to match my logo back ground.
