I was gonna ask for silver style (always one of my favorite) and I saw this thread

to me, it is a very bright silver .. I was hoping for a darkish silver style ... a bit darker silver with darker color surrounding it

Easy enough to do in Style Manager...you can also use a freebie such as IrfanView to adjust the .gif coloring...

all these colors are set in the CSS or JS files .. I believe

No, I created the logo, and the font layer had to be rendered (unedited able) before it could have the effects given.

Whats wrong?

I just downloaded the style, and installed it acording to the guidelines, but the style won't be "active"??

Should I activate it in some way, or have I missed something?

You need that in the style manager, you see a check in the checkbox, if theres not one, check it and save the display order.
