    You need the http://www.domain.com part.

      Gotcha. So far, so good. Did that and the banner is not showing at the top of the page. It also isn't showing in the fivelinks template. I did add the variable in that section.

        Put that code above the eval() line that creates fivelinks (you'll see a line that has gettemplate("fivelinks") in it)
