  • When will the German language pack be ready for download?

    Hi,

we really like the vBulletin software - it was our first choice after a decent evaluation process. We trusted in your announcement to realase a german language pack in early 2013. Hower, internationalisation is crucial for the the deployment of our site, so could you please tell us, when the langpack will be available?

Currently there is still work that has to be done on the German language pack. However, in the German section of this forum it was announced that the language pack can be expected around July/August, so it should not be that far away anymore. Give it another few weeks maybe, but it definetly won't be another half year.

It's out now. Go to download vBulletin but select 'More Download Options', select German under Additional Language, download vBulletin as normal, open the archive and go to upload->core->install->customlanguages and extract vbulletin-custom-language-german.xml. Then go to your vBulletin admin panel, languages and phrases, download/upload language, under "import language xml file" upload the XML file you extracted and don't touch any other settings, and click import.

        Done!
