    vBulletin 4.x has completely new format for templates and editing templates via plugins. 3.x template code and template plugins will not work on 4.x. That is the problem. The "solution" is to learn the "new" way of doing things which you can read up on at vBulletin.org as was linked above.

    Dear Representitive;

    Few months ago we have upgraded our forum software to VB 4. When we are working with Vb3.7 we developed few plugins. Hance this plugins won’t work at all on VB4
    Problem is;
    Plugins hook location set to template_cache
    The only code inside is;
    $text = "Hello World";

    When we move on to the Styles section;
    On the style that we use, only thing that we need to display the text inside the plugin is to add “$text” inside the header template on the VB 3...
    When we use the variable inside the style on VB4 it does not work at all
    If you kindly advise us on this specific matter we will be more than happy
